First time to Daejeon

What I had heard about Daejeon was that it was "the Science City."  At the time, I didn't know what exactly that meant, but I knew it was only an hour away from Daegu on the way to Seoul, so I thought I'd make a visit happen in January, 2010.

I didn't venture too far from the train station, so there much of Daejeon that I did not see.  On another day, I did visit the Science Museum, but the computer on which I stored the photos crashed and I had not yet backed them up on an external drive (stupid me!), and I've not visited the Science Museum again yet.

Scroll down a bit, and I'll show you something about "love motels."

Now this "love motel" didn't have any words minced, did it?

See that blue curtain.  "Love motels" that have a parking lot have such curtains.  Why?  To hide the cars (and protect the privacy) of their guests.

As usual, I wanted to get back to Daegu before the last train departed for Yeongcheon.
