Learning and Making Do

Bibimbab and sides 5000 wons.  I passed by this restaurant everyday that I walked to the gym.
Dak (rice cakes) these were filled with brown sugar.  They were chewy.  They never became a favorite for me.
 Liquid Vitamin D

Liquid vitamin and herb drinks are everywhere.  Usually, the only time I drank one was when someone gave me one.
One burner was all I had.  It's all I needed.

Later, I bought a portable convection oven.
The problem was that my refrigerator was small, so I had to be careful about making too much food.
It didn't take long for me to stop frying my own chicken.  Why?  Because I learned that there was less hassle (no oil to buy and clean up)  in just buying it from any of dozens of restaurants within a short walking distance.  Let them buy the oil.  Let them deal with the oily mess.  It didn't take long for me to order (in Korean) what I wanted, and it didn't take long for me to pick a favorite chicken restaurant.  The people there did chicken right and got to know what I liked most.
