My Basic Attitude

     I kept my attitude simple:

     1.  I am the guest-worker, so it's my job to adapt.
     2.  Go with the flow, and learn as you go.
     3.  Be grateful.
     4.  Be kind.

 Thin sliced pork belly (bacon) with lots of side dishes.

Ox meat on bones
Spicey broth
Usually, there's a small bit of potato in there





Seolleongtang

Ox bones simmered to make the white broth.  Ox / Beef sliced thin and added.

Noodles and seasoning added at the table.

I added the sliced green pepper.










     My first bus ride.

      My first birthday there.












      My birthday party was inside this coffee shop, which became one of my favorite places to hang out.  First, they served Korean foods.  Later, they installed a pizza kitchen.  It's on the river side.










     My first train ride in Korea.  I was bound for Seoul and Incheon to catch a plane to the Philippines.
