I was in my own little world, and I was enjoying learning on my own. I learned that a train ride to Daegu costs less than 5000 wons. I learned that the last return train departed at about 10:20 p.m. I learned that Dongdaegu (another train station) was not far from Daegu station and that it offered more options.
After I got to Daegu Station, the theme of my visit was "walk and learn and don't miss the last train to Yeongcheon."
Tall buildings became my landmarks.
For awhile, until I knew my way around better, "Daegu City Center" was my land mark to my favorite burger restaurant.
I found coffee shops... LOTS OF COFFEE SHOPS... One served waffles like this.
Burgers cooked to order! That was my favorite burger place until I found others. I still love their burgers, but I love the others too, so it's hard to say "favorite" now.
Often I got back to Yeongcheon in time to hangout a bit at my favorite coffee shop there. It was the only one in town at the time.
