May I have some more sauce, please!

Just in case you haven't read about this in my other posting, restauranteurs here are CRAZY about SAUCE, SAUCE, and MORE SAUCE.  I mean there's some real food with some real flavor in there somewhere!

Now the saucy chicken nuggets pictured below are the best in my neighborhood.  The nuggets are not too tiny.  I can get them with our without the sauce.  The batter is slightly and nicely spiced.  The sauce is slightly spiced and sweet.  As you can see, the cook sprinkled some chopped peanuts on top.  I (as of the time of this writing) can get a box like this for about 6500 wons and they last me for a few days.  Or, as I often do, I can order a small dixie cup full -- just enough for while I am at work -- for 1000 wons.  The restaurant is almost next door to my work place.

Sometimes, I want fried fish.  That's right, FRIED fish.  I got this tray of food at E-mart.  That's right, E-mart!  I paid about 4000 wons for what you see here.

Beef on the bone is called "Gallby," and it's not often that I see them on sale at the supermarket.

I found, while I was walking around, several pasta restaurant not far from the Gumi train station in downtown Gumi (I can ride my bike there in about 15 minutes or walk for an hour).  In the picture below is a potato and chicken pizza for about 7000 wons and a bowl of spaghetti with red sauce and bacon for about 7000 wons.  I could've had a soda for no more charge, but I didn't want one.

I've not been impressed with the cinnamon toast often available in coffee shops around here.  Too much bread, drizzle, and whipped topping for my tastes.  It looks pretty though.  It was my first time visiting the coffee shop that serve this one to me.  Really, I just wanted a quiet place to relax and read.  Cinnamon toast was really all they had to offer to go with the coffee.
